If you died today, Where would you spend eternity?
Most of us like to think that we are pretty good but the Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God”. Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.” So pray right now and confess that you are a sinner and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, then place your faith and trust in Him and He will do just that. My
name is John Branton. I am an over the road truck driver. Some time back
I felt lead to start some kind of outreach ministry to touch the lives
of the many people that I come across each day. I try to encourage
everyone that I can but sometimes only have a brief moment to talk to
some of the people that I meet. So I started making business size cards
with R U Ready otr on the front with some verses for salvation on the
back. It is so easy to just hand them out at the toll booths or the
people at the registers in truck stops. But it is also so easy to walk
up to someone and say, I am doing an outreach program and would like to
give you one of my cards. Then I try and let the Holy Spirit lead from
there. Sure is an easy way to start a conversation but even when you
can't you have given them the way of Salvation through Jesus Christ.
This works great but I can only reach out to so many people. So what if
I could get others to do the same. If I reached out to two people and
then they reached out to two... well just do the math. 2 becomes 4, 4
becomes 8, 8 becomes 16 and in fifteen days you have reached out to
32,768. In thirty days you have reached out to 1,073,741,824. That is a
lot of lives that could be changed for ever.

planted a seed.
